Welcome to the Laser Party. We are made of sex.

You, on the other hand, are the embodiment sadness and are typified by your longing to matter. This amuses us. Fret not, however, for you can easily overcome this condition. In order to become the human concept of Joy, as we have done, you can do one of two things. The first is to undertake a journey to Ancient Ademadegon and return with the the 3 heads of the Awesomegret which roosts in the Crystal Caverns of Caramel Colors. Or, two, register on this site. They are basically the same thing, really.

So our ps3 just busted, along with anyone who has the 60GB Backwards compatibility model.

Around 7:30 pm, I put Dragon Age in to play it, after giving it a break for an hour or so (I had been playing since 9 in the morning).

I got an error concerning the trophies not being able to be registered properly, and the game quit. I did this with Resident Evil 5, same results. After looking in the main system menu, I find trophies for both games have been deleted. I got on the forums and find that many, MANY, MANY people are having this exact same problem, at the exact same time.

Turns out there was some sort of error with the clocks on the system, that didn't account for a leap year. The system's clock had been reset to December 31, 1999, and had deleted the trophies of any game I put in because according to the clock, I hadn't earned them yet.

Sony is scrambling to fix the problem, but I don't see it getting fixed, affirming the notion that this was just a mass plot to get all us stingies to go cough up cash for the new ps3 models.

But... it's not leap year?

BUT HOW DARE THEY. For real, that sucks. So you just can't play anything now until you get an update somehow?

If they even do that. Kevin's convinced it's a hardware error, and therefore unfixable, but I really hope it isn't.

If it is, we just save up some money and shell out for the new model.

Or party like it's 1999 and play all of your games over? If you don't reset the date it can't happen again... right?

I need Prince and the Revolution, several copies of Purple Rain, a little red corvette, and Randy Mendez before I even get on that train of thought.

-edit-

Speaking of which, where is Randy? I heard from him in ages.

He texted me a while back and said that he was giving up non-essential internet for a while. I'm not sure why or when he'll be done with that.
