I just read the stuff on the bus and before class starts so usually I do okay on them. Anyways, these quizzes have 3 questions and they're usually pretty simple to answer (with one word or a sentence or so). Today, however, the last question was about an agreement two of the characters had made in the story so I, being a super cool studious guy, decided to err on the side of caution and write an entire paragraph detailing what they said (also, I will admit I was going for the shotgun- i.e. include everything so you get the part he wants). Well, we don't get that much time to do these miniquizzes so we were passing up papers and I wasn't done. I Grabbed the kid behind me's paper and just held it while I fnished writing and then when I looked up guy in front of me is peering at me all suspicious and I realize I'm holding the paper of the dude behind me face up. That guy: are you cheating right now? Me: What? No. I just wrote like a paragraph on that last answer. That guy: gives me a disbelieving look and turns around really fast Me: roll eyes Anyways, the professor really hates cheaters and basically stopped class a few periods back to condemn an unnamed cheater in our midst who he had caught. SO, since the kid was loitering around in class carefully looking at nothing when I (a pretty late leaver because of my laptop etc.) left I'm about 80% sure he reported me as a cheater. Sweet. Shouldn't actually be a problem I guess, I just hope I don't get screwed by the system on this and that he'll actually look at how different our answers are bound to be.

In situations like that I always set the stack face down and finish instead of holding it in my hand. Hopefully this professor doesn't have a vendetta against cheaters and stuff, you could get a zero for the quiz, and possibly expelled. So yeah. Be careful.
