eekamudcrab Posts: 5,788 Group: Administrator Member #3 Joined: July 19, 2004	Yeah, so I got pretty hardcore back into Eve a couple weeks ago. It was kind of funny because I joined a low sec corp and was mining veldspar (the lowest ore) for the first 2 days. Needless to say, I realized my place in Eve is being a pirate in 0.0, so I joined a badass alliance. I'm training towards the Moros dreadnought atm. If anyone that hasn't already tried eve (or that has?) would like an extended 21 day trial code just let me know. And if anyone (read: alpha) has a decently trained character, you should join this corp im in.

I jokingly said in fleet chat "if anyone wants to loan me a rapier I'll be t3h uber scout" Well, the FC (fleet commander) traded me a fully tech 2 fitted rapier (tech 2 cloaky recon cruiser) with rigs and everything. I went on to scout for our ~25 man mixed gang. Managed to land us several kills, and at one point we engaged a carrier (another carrier undocked and they kept using capital remote armor reps on each other so there was no way we could break their tanks). Losses were minimal on our side throughout the night, so I would say it was a win. After we got back everyone was praising my uber scoutage abilities, and a couple europeans (holland and hungary) claimed I was the best scout they have seen in the alliance (25 corporations, about 2000 members). I told the FC I would trade him his rapier back unless he would sell it to me, and he said sure, just give me 50mil... The ship (unfitted) is worth 120m, and by the time you buy the covert ops cloak II and rigs, etc I would say its worth over 200m. Sweet.

Oh, they patched today which made t3 cruisers much cheaper (they altered the datacore drop rates and the gas rates from radar sites in wormhole space or something?)
