 This paper is final in that it is both the last and most important of my papers for this class... and I can't bring myself to do it.

I'm sitting here re-reading all this shit about free will and moral responsibility and I just don't give a shit. All of this is mind numbingly convoluted and it all essentially boils down to determinists vs. indeterminists telling each other the burden of proof is on the opposition. The truth is that it doesn't fucking matter if we have free will, because we and every other human society act as though we do (in order to enforce laws and keep civilization running).

I just have no energy for this.

(btw the main ones are Compatibilism (all actions are causally determined but people are still morally responsible, considers that free will), Incompatibilism (all actions are causally determined and no one is responsible for anything- no free will), and straight up Libertarianism(we are all un-moved movers, like Uranium's random release of alpha particles and God we are beginners of events and are inexplicable if you judge by cause alone- aka totally free will).

Personally I favor Compatibilism but, and I can't stress this enough, I really don't give any shits.
